With the Acapella Hyperion we have created an exceptional transducer, capable of moving the standards in music reproduction. A musical titan, that rightly bears its name.Whether the delicate tone of a flute, the unleashed force of a large orches-tra, or the immediate dynamics of a drum kit, the Hyperion sees itself as a mediator of the highest competence.Eight 15 inch drivers, exclusively manufactured for the Hy-perion, are housed in elaborate, perfectly crafted cabinets for deep black bass and a tremendous lower cut-off frequency of 16 Hertz.The seamlessly following midrange takes over a specially developed for this system 780 hyper-spherical horn unit.
Thanks to particularly effective damping of rear sound components, the 2.5 inch dome used here works completely free of discolourations. The result is an unprece dented natural midrange reproduction.The high range is once again provided by our wel-proven TW 1-S ion tweeter.lts wide frequency range gives the Hyperion a frequency response of more than 1l octaves.ln the Hyperion, these characteristics com bine to create a breathtaking cosmos of musical reproduction, with only one stan-dard of comparison: Live music.
